Celebrating Grubby & Trish!
We need your help! In honor of Grubby's formal retirement as NC4 lead pastor come April, the NC4 Archive Project is organizing, in collaboration with the elders and other relevant NC4 ministries, a project of remembrance, testimony, and celebration. We need your testimony to produce media in preparation for festivities come April.
As such, ware asking every member of our church family to voluntarily undertake these tasks:
1. Take time to remember, write down, and submit testimony to Grub and Trish’s personal and pastoral impact on you and your family’s life. [Please try to date your testimony as accurately as possible]. This can include: (1) warm relational moments you shared with them, (2) testimonies (“Trish led me to the Lord,” “Grubby prayed for me and I spoke in tongues,” etc.), (3) funny personal anecdotes (church retreat stories, fellowship happenings, church picnic bloopers, etc.), (3) prophecies given & fulfilled, (4) healings, (5) discipleship testimony (“Grubby taught me x,” “Trish taught me y,” etc.), (6) prayer testimony (“Trish partnered with me in prayer, and God answered…,”), (7) pastoral moments (“They comforted me when my dad died,” “Grubby helped me discern God’s direction for my life,” etc.), (8) counseling moments (“They truly helped save our marriage,” etc.), (9) co-ministry testimonies (“In Haiti, Grubby did x,” “Ministering with Trish, y happened), etc.
2. Take time to collect any and every photo you have from church events or fellowship that include Grubby and Trish, and begin scanning and submitting them. If you have any home-videos, let me know immediately and if they are VHS or other older media, we’ll discuss getting them safely copied to electronic format.
3. Start with Grubby and Trish, and then begin a prayerful process of expanding your own personal testimony, and your family’s autobiography, in preparation for future archive activities.
Were it not for Grub and Trish's obedience, commitment, and service, we all wouldn't be here or doing church together. Grub and Trish's story is NC4's story, and as such should be the organizing focus for the collective telling of the history of God's presence and faithfulness in our midst.
Initial deadline for submitted testimony: Dec. 20, 2021.
